Sr. Shopper Marketing Manager
Julie Lee has been a part of the Coca-Cola system for over 20 years. In her current role, Lee leads Coke’s Shopper Marketing for North America National Retail Sales on the Family Dollar / Dollar Tree business.
Her 2019 shopper marketing focus is the “Make Every Sip Count” platform with Boys & Girls Clubs, an annual loyalty and merchandising Platform, currently in year two. For this multi-year initiative, Lee is responsible for the strategic development and activation including media, digital, social, loyalty and in-store activation. With Lee’s leadership, Coke was awarded the 2018 Vendor of the Year Marketing and the Boys & Girls Club 2018 Cause Marketing Award. Prior to her current role, Lee lead the national marketing team on McDonald’s USA and East Regional marketing for 10 years. On McDonald’s, Lee lead several key marketing initiatives including Any Size for $1, NASCAR, NFL and Olympic activation. During, her career, she also led shopper marketing on Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and several key foodservice customers including Firehouse Subs, Moe’s, and Subway.
She started her Coke career with Florida Coca-Cola Bottling in 1995 as part of the media and marketing team managing Sports properties, Theme Parks and Foodservice. Lee is a graduate from the University of Miami, FL where she was a member of the Women’s Hurricane Basketball team. She has an MBA from St. Thomas University. Lee is an active member of her community and serves on the local swim team committee, PTO, and Junior Achievement. Lee resides in Charlotte, NC with her husband, Joe and their two daughters, Savannah and Ava.
